Bilingual Customer Service Rep
Description We are looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative in the renewable energy industry based in Houston, Texas. This role provides a contract to hire employment opportunity in a fully remote setting. As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, maintaining accurate customer records, and assisting with account activation and inquiry resolution. Responsibilities: • Handle customer inquiries and issues via phone, email, and live chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. • Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. • Collaborate with the Member Accounts team to identify and resolve billing discrepancies. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products and the energy industry to educate customers and enhance their experience. • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and drive customer sign-ups through our support channels. • Maintain accurate customer credit records using basic excel and data entry skills. • Provide feedback to our Product team based on customer interactions to help improve our platform, services, and internal processes. • Leverage your bilingual skills in English and Spanish to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers. • Actively promote and drive member sign-ups through our support channels. Requirements • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with an emphasis on Spanish translation skills. • Extensive experience in a high volume call center, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Proven ability to provide excellent customer support, resolving issues efficiently and effectively. • Previous experience in the renewable energy industry would be an advantage. • Solid skills in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. • Familiarity with call center customer service protocols and practices. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inbound call center environment, managing high call volumes while maintaining service quality. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with customers. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development in the renewable energy sector. • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of customers in different time zones. • High level of computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
