Seneca's Bilingual Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Clinic supports teenagers with chronic suicidality or self-harm behaviors.  It is an evidenced-based practice that was designed to treat Borderline Personality Disorder; it is a structured, behavioral, skill-oriented and team-based treatment that has been said to “make you a better therapist faster” and we believe it! Seneca’s San Francisco Connections program is responsible for the ongoing provision of culturally competent mental health services to clients and their families, including individual, group, and family therapy

We are now hiring for a Bilingual DBT Therapist. We are participating with UCSF in a study to determine ways to bring DBT training as well as treatment to various populations, and will provide the training required.  This is an incredible opportunity to build your clinical repertoire, enhance your resume, work with an inspiring and talented team, and provide important access to treatment to youth and families.

“Being on the DBT team just one year has enhanced my clinical skills and has shown me how effective DBT can be for our youth and their families.  It's incredibly rewarding to see our clients use these skills, increase connection to their families, and increase their connection to what's important in their lives, or as DBT says, what makes their "life worth living.”
