Ideal candidate should have completed a Master's in ABA or
have a Master’s Degree in a related field AND pursuing BCBA
Responsibilities
• Assist Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Assist with developing interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills, including creating materials for use with various behavior programs, including in-home therapy and at schools.
• Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in the implementation of positive supports and behavioral interventions to reduce interfering behaviors, in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and their child's specific goals.
• Assist with developing goals in a range of areas including communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help skills, and recreational and leisure skills in consultation with the clinical supervisor.
• Assist the clinical supervisor in the intake process, observations, and preparation of the consumer's initial behavior assessment.
• Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data and provide periodic reviews of Behavioral Therapists' performance, including providing on-going verbal and written feedback to Behavior Therapists.
• Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements (IOA) to ensure accuracy of client data, coach Behavior Therapists to reduce data discrepancies.
• Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.
• Must be enrolled in Master's program or have Master’s Degree in related field
• 2-3 years experience working as a Behavior Therapist.
• 2-3 years experience working with children age 2-18 with developmental disabilities.
