Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.
We are currently seeking a Bilingual Project Management Specialist for Corporate office located in Novi, MI reporting directly to Project Management Assistant Manager. This individual will be responsible for keeping project on schedule as well as managing implementation of ECI (Engineering Change Instruction).
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and analyze ECIUpdate ECI summaryAttend weekly/monthly ECI meetingCreate OP chart and action item list for new projectsPlan and hold project meetingsCollect current project status from related departments and evaluateOrganize and manage model year changesCreate parts list and distributeDrawing issue timing adjustmentAttend all meetings representing PPC departmentCommunicate with counterparts in JapanKeeping progress of projects on scheduleSynchronization of events between other departmentsOther duties as assignedEducation & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field preferred but not required1-2 years of project management experience preferredRequired Skills:
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently under tight deadlines and fast paced environmentTravel Requirements: 10-15%
