JOB DETAILS:

Location 77032Pay $14.00/HRShift - First 3 months is Mon-Fri (8AM to 4:30PM). After that it will be Mon-Fri (2:30PM to 11PM)Bilingual Preferred

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Operates large machine.Reviews drawings, instructions, or samples to ensure accurate production.Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete a given job.Monitors production, adjusting speeds, feeds, and other machine settings as necessary.Maintains inventory of completed products.Checks output for quality assurance and documents or segregates defective parts.Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.Maintains a clean and safe workstation.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.Instructs, trains, and guides the machinist helper.Helps monitor the production output of the Machinist Helper.Verifies dimensions of the finished workpiece, using measuring devices.Must ensure that all Safety switches on machines and equipment are enabled for the protection of the employee and equipment.Follow quality and ISO guidelines to produce products within customer specifications.Inform the Supervisor of any machine or equipment set ups or job changes for inspection and/or verification.Maintain all tooling and equipment in good working condition.Verify pallets and products are traceable and always identified.Always wear proper PPE and safety equipment when operating equipment

Work Experience

· 1+ years of machinist experience required.

· Possess good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.

· Possess basic inventory skills.

· Possess knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance.

· Must have a good working knowledge of metals and the quality and machine-ability and uses of metals, alloys, and other materials.

· Bilingual preferred.

· Capable to follow company operating procedures, safety rules, and ISO requirements.

· Ability to lift to 30 lbs.

· Able to legally work in the United States.

· Effectively communicate in English (verbally and in writing).
