Schedule: 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $72,000 to $78,000 DOE Location: Phoenix, AZ Position Type: Full Time Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.   Principal Duties and Responsibilities: + Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites to identify potential hazards. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. + Document and report safety violations and recommend corrective actions. + Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees in both Mandarin and English. + Conduct safety orientation sessions for new hires. + Communicate safety policies and procedures clearly to all workers. + Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes. + Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommend preventative measures. + Maintain and update safety records and documentation. + Develop and maintain emergency response plans. + Conduct regular emergency drills and training sessions. + Monitor compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. + Act as a liaison between English-speaking management and Mandarin-speaking employees. Requirements: + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry. + Minimum of 3 years experience in conducting safety training and inspections. + Must have a valid OSHA 30 certification. + Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field. + Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.   Preferences: + Previous experience in construction, plumbing, or a related field is preferred. + CPR certification  + OSHA 510 certification  Physical Effort/Activities: May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
