The Physician Assistant practices medicine under the direction of physicians and surgeons. The Physician Assistant works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Physician Assistant takes medical histories, examines and treats patients, orders and interprets laboratory tests and X-rays, makes diagnoses, and prescribes medications. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of two to five years directly applicable experience Successful completion of a nurse practitioner program with board certificationActive, unrestricted nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in state of practice location (FL) Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with all colleagues; fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team-based care” Bilingual (English and Spanish) is requiredWillingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care settingSuperior patient/customer serviceBasic computer skills, including email and EMRAppropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of a collaborating physician/medical directorThis role is considered patient facing and is a part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Active and unrestricted DEA license Medicare Provider Number/ Medicaid Provider Number Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients with understanding of Best Practice in coordinated care environment in a value-based relationship environment.
