Bilingual Pharmacovigilance Case Management Specialist
The Bilingual Pharmacovigilance (PV) Case Management Specialist (CMS) is a key role on the local Canadian PV team who takes care of all aspects of local case management in both French and English ensuring full compliance to Health Canada and, indirectly, compliance to other health authorities where Bayer products are marketed.
This role reports to the PV Country Head Canada and is based in Canada.
Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a 14-month Contract or Short Term Assignment position.
What you will do:
• Responsible for all aspects of Case Management in Argus in full compliance to Health Canada and Bayer SOPs and policies.
• Responsible for the timely collection, triage and review, follow up as well as submissions of all clinical and spontaneous adverse event cases.
• Responsible for ensuring timely reporting of cases to global PV and any PV vendors.
• Responsible for following department procedures for adverse events associated with product technical complaints.
• Remains current with changing regulatory adverse events reporting requirements, ensuring company compliance with current legislation and regulatory demands.
• Responsible for reconciliation activities with internal and external partners in coordination with other members of the PV Team.
• Responsible for distribution of SUSARs and safety reports to investigators and ethic committees.
Who you are:
Education: BSc., MD, nursing degree or equivalent university degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.Strong knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.Fluency in both English & French (written and verbal communication skills).A minimum of 1 year experience working in Pharmacovigilance Case Management.Demonstrated learning agility.Strong organizational and process management skills.Ability to take personal responsibility and accountability.Collaborative, team-oriented, flexible.
