Bilingual School-Based Clinician
Overview: Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual (English/Spanish) Mental Health Clinician to join our team in partnership with the Ossining Union Free School District. This is a full-time (35 hours per week) position with a compensation range of $63,000 - $73,000 depending on credentials. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): + Assist with PreK Second Step Social Emotional Curriculum for 4-5 year olds that includes Park School and the Ossining Children’s Center + Provide mental health consultation for teachers challenged by the behaviors of children in their classroom setting + Conduct intakes and assessments for children who have been referred for services + Provide individual and family therapy, as well as behavior interventions for children and families who have been referred for services + Provide PIWI programing to parents, teachers, infants and toddlers at First Steps to support parent-child relationships and early childhood mental health + Ensure quality programming and timely documentation and data collection + Other duties as assigned Qualifications: + LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC preferred with 2 years of experience in a school-based setting + Strong administrative skills, knowledge of child development, behavior management, and experience with group care and school settings + Bilingual English/Spanish required + Ability to communicate effectively in writing in English and Spanish preferred + Capable of accepting and implementing constructive supervision, individually and within the training sessions + Commitment to working with diverse, multicultural populations + Ability to work independently + Consistent and timely attendance at agency meetings and events, site assignments, and client sessions What WJCS has to offer you: + Generous PTO, Comprehensive Health Benefits and a Healthcare Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA). + 403(b) Plan and an Agency-Paid Pension Plan. + On-Going Professional Training and Development. + Employee Assistance and Referral Program. + Opportunity for LMSWs to earn hours toward an LCSW Why join Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS)?
