Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Consultant (French/English) to partner with our hiring leaders in building talent pipelines, developing effective sourcing strategies, and delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will manage a specialized or specific technical level of job openings, requiring good knowledge and expertise in a given niche to support the recruitment process, activities and achievements.

**What you will do**
• Recruits for specialized and/or technical positions at an individual contributor level, through constant and ongoing participation in professional organizations and affiliations, networking and cold calling.
• Creates a constantly updated recruiting pipeline of specialized candidates, including a diverse pool, for their areas of recruiting.
• Source candidates to build proactive talent pipelines for niche roles using various channels
• Engages hiring managers with superior consultation skills, using influence and expertise to recommend most effective methodology for bringing talent into the organization.
• Maintains procedures and methods for recruiting by studying the effect of market conditions on recruitment and identifying sources of local and national talent supply.
• Identifies, evaluates and recommends newest trends and tools available in recruiting technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting process.
• May include an emphasis on leadership positions at the manager and director level.
• Attend industry events to network with insurance experts and potential talent.
**What you bring to the table**
**Required:**
• Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Human Resources Management and Recruiting area
**OR**
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Human Resources Management and Recruiting area
**AND**
• Experience within a staffing agency and/or corporate recruiting environment
• Bilingual English/French
• Experience with applicant tracking systems
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
• Experience with internet sourcing/advertising, direct sourcing, trade journal/newspaper advertising, employee referral campaigns, job fairs and outplacement firms
**Preferred:**
• CHRP
• CHRL; or working towards completion
• Insurance industry experience
• Demonstrated sales acumen, ability to network effectively
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Experience in an HR or business operation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in using Recruiting technologies
