Job Description This position is willing to pay between 55,000-65,000 depending on experience and qualifications. As a UC Therapist, Youll be one of the first to welcome unaccompanied refugee and immigrant children when they arrive at the program, helping them feel safe and assessing their needs. Youll join a team that takes action, providing exceptional care and helping children reunite with their family. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Conducting initial assessments Developing and implementing therapeutic plans Holding weekly individual and group therapy sessions Coordinating reunification plans Facilitating transfers Attending trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions Preparing reports and required documentation. Skills and Requirements This position requires a masters degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field of study from an accredited college. Must be license eligible. Bilingual English and Spanish required. Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Must be 21 years old with a valid drivers license with at least 3 years driving experience. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage. Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries. Documentation of immunity to vaccine preventable diseases or the willingness to receive vaccination or seek an exemption.
