Position Summary:

The Billing Representative is involved in the billing of private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid.

 

What you will do:

Answers incoming calls from Referrals and customers placing ordersRequest Prescriptions for customers as needed Obtains insurance authorization and recertification as neededMaintains accurate and complete records concerning billing activity and inventory tracking.Examines insurance explanation of benefits to assure responsibility and identify rejected insurance billings. Rework and rebill rejected accounts in a timely manner.Supplies supervisor with current account status for collection evaluation

What you will need:

High School diploma or equivalent.Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience required.
