Temporary position (3 Months)The Billing Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely customer billing, issue research and resolution for customer accounts in North America. This individual is responsible for managing the workflow and transaction volume of commercial rebates, invoice corrections for sales orders, financial invoices, and resolving invoicing problems. This role requires the candidate to take ownership of tasks pertaining to the assigned areas of responsibility, be proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may impact customer order processes, as well as finding effective and efficient methods to address these requirements. This role will be involved with a variety of activities and projects to support the Global Business Services (GBS) Credit team. The Billing Associate reports to the Credit Supervisor in Guadalajara.
Process daily billing transactions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers Manage sales order adjustments to ensure that all related data is received in a timely manner, validate information, and work with internal departments to resolve conflicts that lead to invoice generation and improve our accounts receivable cycle Research and resolve complex customer billing issues and discrepancies Build strong working relationships with Commercial and Finance teams Communicate electronic invoice discrepancies to the relevant teams for timely resolution Maintain tracking files for monitoring and reporting of key metrics and challenges Maintain proper documentation for requests and issue resolution Assist the Credit Supervisor with internal and external audits Qualifications
Education- College degree in business preferred
