Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Complete Description:  Maintain accuracy of VITA’s automated Telecommunications Inventory and Billing System.Produce and issue accurate and timely bill for Telecommunications, Mainframe Services, and Comprehensive IT Goods and Services.   Maintain databases analyzing, reconciling and manipulating billing data provided by vendors, Senior Financial Analysts, as well as Northrop Grumman and various vendors.Respond to inquiries and billing discrepancies. Provide resolutions to agency, locality and commercial customers in a timely manner.  Provide and trouble shoot security access to the VITA Identity Manager (VIM) for the Comprehensive Billing System and  Telecommunications Billing Files.  Resolve any security access issues that users encounter.  
Knowledge of the telecommunications and mainframe services industries.  Knowledge of personal computer processes such as spreadsheets, email and word processing.  Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices especially as related to billing.Knowledge of accounting or business administration preferred.  Experience producing bills and reports in a DP environment.  Ability to work in mainframe-based billing systems. Review fiscal transactions for compliance with procedures and regulations. Prepare reports and statements.  Ability to work independently within established guidelines and deadlines as well as ability to work well with peers, vendors, and customers.  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
