The ideal candidate will be a master of communication, problem solving, prioritizing, and working with little supervision. The Billing and Contract Specialist is responsible to oversee and administer contracts and purchase orders with specific vendors. They will compare bids from vendors and determine, or assist with determination, to whom contracts will be awarded. Additionally they will evaluate vendor proposals to ensure all requirements are met. Confirms terms and delivery dates are accurate.
As the Billing and Contract Specialist your responsibilities will include; Learn entire project life cycle, from proposal to contract closeout, Have a general working knowledge of all company contracts and contract types Invoice clients on required schedules Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data Maintain project budgets and required communication about them Manage phone calls and correspondence from both staff and clients Communicate timely and effectively with colleagues and executive management Assist in other administrative work when needed
Here is what we’re looking for; 4 to 5 years of experience in Contract writing, Billing, Project Management, or other related fields. Proven experience in project administration, including timeline requirements, billing, and budget tracking Outstanding communication and social skills, especially regarding confidential and sensitive information Excellent organizational skills Excellent knowledge of MS Office Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro Demonstrated eagerness and ability to learn new software and systems as needed Flexibility in job duties and assigned tasks High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (office administration, communication, Business, Program Management, Writing, or relevant field) is preferred
