Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the legal sector, based in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role involves managing complex billing processes, maintaining customer records, and resolving any discrepancies in a well-coordinated manner. Responsibilities: • Perform complex billing for multiple attorneys, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Verify time allocated per client, making sure that all records are accurate and up to date. • Review and approve pre-bills, making necessary adjustments as required. • Gain final invoice approvals and submit them directly via email, mail, and client portal. • Research and resolve any discrepancies in billing and provide relevant documentation. • Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient billing operations. • Handle special projects related to billing and accounts receivable as required. • Employ Aderant and other electronic billing systems effectively. • Perform other accounting functions as necessary to support the billing process.
