Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the non-profit sector, located in Akron, Ohio. In this role, you will be expected to manage and process billing-related tasks, handle claim denials, and maintain precise records. Responsibilities: • Manage the billing process and ensure all bills are paid in a timely manner • Handle claim denials efficiently to avoid any disruption in the billing cycle • Post payments to relevant accounts to maintain up-to-date records • Ensure accurate records are kept of all payment and billing activities • Willingly take on the responsibility of paying bills for clients when required • Utilize your skills in medical billing to ensure all processes are carried out effectively • Use your understanding of credituling to enhance the efficiency of the billing process. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role. • Knowledge and experience in billing procedures. • Proficiency in medical billing processes. • Ability to handle claim denials effectively. • Familiarity with denials management. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Good communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proficiency in office software and data entry. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team. • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or related field will be a plus.
