Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This role is centered on the industry of accounting and finance, and will require the individual to work on-site. As a Billing Clerk, you will be working closely with the accounts team, handling various billing functions and utilizing your accounting skills to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: • Handle billing matters related to FEMA and other state-based programs • Ensure all customer inquiries are resolved promptly and accurately • Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Utilize various Accounting Software Systems for efficient processing of tasks • Perform computerized billing tasks accurately and promptly • Execute various accounting functions to support the finance team • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks as required • Maintain accurate records of all billing functions • Work closely with the COO and other team members as necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Skilled in Computerized Billing • Familiarity with "About Time" software • Proficient in executing Accounting Functions • Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proven experience in Billing and Billing Functions • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Ability to work independently and within a team • Strong multitasking and time-management skills • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
