Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Burr Ridge, Illinois. The role involves various accounting functions, such as billing and accounts receivable, in a dynamic workplace. Responsibilities: • Assure confidentiality of sensitive data and adhere to the organization's established procedures. • Efficiently resolve discrepancies in accounts by obtaining and scrutinizing all relevant information. • Act as a liaison between various departments, including Order Entry, Finance, and Controllership, to ensure smooth operations. • Effectively communicate with customers through various channels such as telephone and email to resolve issues. • Submit precise invoices to clients in a timely manner. • Handle dispute resolution professionally and efficiently. • Regularly follow up on outstanding issues to ensure resolution. • Utilize SAP and Excel for various billing functions. • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks. • Answer inbound calls and provide excellent customer service. Requirements Qualifications: + Experience: 3-5 years of experience in collections, with a focus on high-dollar, national accounts. + Technical Skills: + Proficiency with AIA billing processes. + Experience with SAP and customer portals. + Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to handle challenging conversations professionally. + Problem-Solving: Adept at resolving billing and payment discrepancies. + Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. + Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred but not required.
