Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in Pompano Beach, Florida, United States. You will play a crucial role in managing transactions, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records of client accounts. Responsibilities: • Manage daily transactions and ensure all accounts are kept up-to-date • Create and distribute invoices electronically and physically to clients • Keep track of outstanding balances and ensure prompt payment • Update financial data and payment information in our system • Assist the billing team and team lead in various tasks as required • Receive, sort, and track all incoming payments in an organized manner • Issue receipts for payments received and update the corresponding client accounts • Respond to billing questions and issues raised by our clients in a timely and detail oriented manner • Prepare regular reports for review and check billing activity for accuracy • Uphold our strict policies on client confidentiality. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential • Experience with Computerized Billing is required • Familiarity with Billing Functions is needed • Knowledge of Billing software is necessary • Experience in preparing Billing Statements is required • Ability to handle and manage overall Billing processes • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed • Must have strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential • Knowledge of manufacturing industry is a plus.
