Description We are in search of a PT (20 hours) Billing Clerk to join small company in Salem, MA. As a Billing Clerk, you will be primarily focusing on handling customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. Your role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Maintain and update customer credit records with meticulous attention to detail • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to billing • Keep track of customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary • Utilize computerized billing systems to manage and organize billing information • Handle accounts receivable duties, ensuring all payments are processed and recorded correctly • Answer inbound calls from customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues • Assist with billing collection activities, contacting customers as needed to ensure timely payment • Manage legal billing processes, ensuring all billing information is accurate and up-to-date • Maintain good client management practices, fostering positive relationships with customers. Requirements • Proficiency in Computerized Billing systems is essential. • Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Experience with Answering Inbound Calls is necessary. • Demonstrated ability in Billing Collection is indispensable. • Familiarity with Legal Billing procedures is crucial. • Excellent Client Management skills are a must.
