Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the construction industry, located in North Kansas City, Missouri. As a Billing Clerk, your role will be vital in managing various billing processes for construction projects, including the preparation and submission of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and facilitating timely payments from clients. Responsibilities: • Accurately prepare and submit invoices for construction projects • Ensure all billing procedures align with contract terms • Manage the AIA billing process effectively • Handle lien waivers with proper attention to detail • Oversee the progress billing process to ensure timely payment from clients • Adopt a meticulous approach to maintaining construction accounting records • Utilize your understanding of construction costs to ensure accurate billing • Resolve any billing-related inquiries from clients promptly and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in AIA Billing is essential for this role. • Prior experience in Construction Accounting is expected. • Candidates must have a strong understanding of Construction Cost. • Familiarity with Lien Waivers is a requirement for this position. • Ability to Prepare Invoices efficiently is a crucial part of this role. • Experience in Progress Billing is highly desirable for this job.
