Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is pivotal to our organization and will involve handling customer applications, maintaining meticulous customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. The incumbent will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Uphold precise customer credit records • Address and resolve customer inquiries effectively • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required • Utilize accounting software systems for efficient billing management • Employ ADP - Financial Services for relevant tasks • Handle computerized billing systems • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Respond to inbound calls promptly and professionally • Utilize Deltek Vision software for billing and related tasks • Prepare and manage billing statements • Oversee electronic billing and project billing tasks • Engage in construction accounting tasks • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas for billing and other related tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Billing Clerk role or similar • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Capability to manage Computerized Billing procedures • Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently • Familiarity with Deltek Vision software • Demonstrable experience in Billing and preparing Billing Statements • Proficiency in Electronic Billing and Project Billing • Experience in the Construction industry is beneficial • Knowledge of Construction Accounting procedures • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including an understanding of Excel Formulas Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
