Billing Clerk
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, located in HONOLULU, Hawaii. You will be working in a supportive team environment, handling accounting tasks related to billing, collections, and account management. Responsibilities: • Handle billing and collections by performing monthly broker billing, verifying service orders, and creating customer invoices. • Regularly review accounts receivable reports and take necessary action on unpaid invoices. • Manage broker portals, inputting data, and addressing daily account changes, including new setups, modifications, and cancellations. • Generate necessary customer reports and scrutinize discrepancies in service orders and invoices. • Maintain regular contact with customers and team members, providing assistance as required. • Assist accounting team members and colleagues from other departments. • Develop proficiency in accounting software systems and be open to learning new software and enhancing technical skills. • Address issues, process refunds and credits, support the accounting team, and report issues to management. • Perform any other functions and tasks as assigned by management. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential. • Familiarity with Computerized Billing is a must. • Knowledge of EHR SYSTEM is expected. • Proficiency in using Epic Software is beneficial. • Experience with About Time software is desirable. • Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary. • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is required. • Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively is important. • Experience in Answering Inbound Calls is advantageous.
