Description Our client in the oil and gas industry is expecting growth in 2025 and is hiring a Billing Clerk. This role is onsite in Lafayette, Louisiana. Responsibilities: • Accurately process the billing and accounts payable tasks using designated accounting software • Oversee customer accounts and initiate appropriate action as needed • Independently manage and prioritize tasks to ensure efficiency • Maintain and update customer credit records with strong attention to detail • Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to effectively manage accounting functions • Apply bookkeeping skills and knowledge of accounting software systems to perform daily tasks. Requirements • Candidate must possess at least 1+ year of experience in a similar role as a Billing Clerk • Experience in the oil and gas industry strongly preferred • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and processes is essential. • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is a crucial requirement. • Experience in Billing operations and procedures is necessary.
