Description We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Billing Specialist located in the Monmouth County, New Jersey area. You will play a crucial role in handling data and maintaining customer records with accuracy and efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include the processing of customer-related tasks and monitoring accounts. Responsibilities • Inputting customer data into Excel spreadsheets with precision • Processing customer credit applications with speed and accuracy • Keeping customer credit records up-to-date and accurate • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills to optimize data management. Requirements • Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Higher education or certifications in related fields will be considered an asset. • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role is necessary. • Strong knowledge of billing procedures and best practices is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. • Excellent mathematical skills, with an ability to handle numerical data accurately. • Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. • Solid communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information according to company policies. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to continue learning and improving. • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure. • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles.
