Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73127, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, maintaining meticulous customer credit records, and effectively resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with diligent monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary actions. Responsibilities • Efficiently handle all customer service phone work, addressing inquiries and concerns • Accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications • Maintain and update customer credit records with high attention to detail • Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions as necessary • Utilize Excel for data entry tasks related to billing and customer records • Ensure accurate data entry related to billing and customer information • Demonstrate proficiency in typing tasks, maintaining an average speed • Contribute to a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, ensuring all tasks are completed within set timelines. Requirements • Possess strong skills in billing and data entry. • Demonstrated proficiency in using billing software and other financial systems. • Proven ability to accurately enter data and maintain records. • Experience in preparing invoices and financial reports. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot numerical errors. • Ability to handle confidential information in a detail oriented manner. • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and other departments. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Knowledge of billing procedures and documentation requirements. • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or business administration will be a plus.
