Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the Construction/Contractor industry based in Compton, California. The role primarily involves handling and processing paperwork, interacting with drivers, and ensuring documentation is accurate and clear. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner. • Maintain and update customer credit records for accuracy. • Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed. • Verify shipment information and orders returned from drivers. • Calculate hours and drive time for accurate billing purposes. • Utilize various software systems including Accounting Software Systems, Computerized Billing, EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software for daily tasks. • Handle billing related tasks including Billing Collection, Billing Statements, and use of Billing System. • Perform accounting functions as necessary. • Handle project billing and progress billing tasks. Requirements • Applicant must have familiarity with Accounting Software Systems. • Knowledge of Computerized Billing is required. • Proficiency in EHR SYSTEM is essential. • Experience with Epic Software is a must. • Familiarity with About Time software will be advantageous. • Ability to handle Accounting Functions is necessary. • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Experience in Billing is essential. • Expertise in Billing Collection is desirable. • Ability to manage Billing Statements is required. • Proficiency in using Billing System is necessary. • Knowledge of Progress billing is a plus. • Experience in Project Billing is crucial. • No specific years of experience required, entry-level applicants are welcome.
