Billing Coordinator
Performs business support work. Primarily applicable to roles whose main purpose is to provide service or other functional support to others in the application of business strategy, typically acting as a resource or being part of a business and often clerical process. Uses administrative, data organizing and coordination and/or client service skills to complete work. Performs tasks according to established procedures. Processes normal and special case order entry as well as roll call and billing activities in accordance with organization policies and processes to meet production and client requirements and SLAs. Files processed sales orders and performs billing deletes as required. Resolves order entry, billing and roll call inquiries and escalations as a support to sales and operations. Prepares daily, monthly, and other periodic billing summary reports and financial statements. Ensures that the billing system is operated and maintained in a manner that efficiently produces accurate bills. Works with systems design to implement new features. Assists with product migrations and other order entry and billing special projects. Identifies opportunities for improvement. Maintains statistics and record issues to help develop a trend analysis and drive improvement. Maintains any documentation for monthly SOX audits for key controls required by management. Develops solutions to billing issues as well as prevention plans. May conduct research and work closely with other teams to help create Root Cause Analysis Documentation. The role is execution orientated. **General Profile:** Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. **Education:** Typically requires AA – or equivalent in education and experience. **Career Band Criteria:** + **Related Experience:** Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years. + **Functional Knowledge:** Has established skills to perform a range of day-to-day activities. + **Business Expertise:** Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others in the discipline. + **Leadership:** Has no supervisory responsibilities; manages own workload. + **Problem Solving:** Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisor approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options.
