Days: Monday - Friday

Hours:  8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Full-time: Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

Responsible for coordinating billing related activities at the local lab with the centralized billing office. 

Responsible for reviewing daily charge files for accuracy and completeness.Releases charges from billing hold for charge fileCommunicates changes related to physicians, clients, managed care agreements, locum tenens schedules, client bill arrangements and changes in test offeringsResponds to inquiries and requests from the central billing office in a timely and accurate mannerManages the client bill, AR aging, and collections to meet within defined targetsProvides specific reporting metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basisResponsible for performing assigned SOX controlsCommunicates all information received from payers to the centralized billing officeCommunicates with lab clients to provide customer/client serviceCompletes annual training programs within the required timeframe and regularly attends staff meetingsMaintains strictest confidentialityComplies with all State, Federal, professional regulations as well as company and departmental rules, polices, and procedural manualsAdherence to HIPAA, Safety and OSHA RegulationsPerforms other duties as assigned

All you need is:

High school diploma or equivalent4 years medical billing experience with exposure to charge entry, posting, claims processing and collections.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
