Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a diligent Billing Representative. In this role, you will be primarily involved in the reconciliation of individual policies' billing and resolving any related issues or inquiries. You will also be accountable for ensuring the timely and accurate release of bills to our active members and handling various reports related to billing functions. Responsibilities: • Reconcile individual policy billings and handle any issues or inquiries related to them • Ensure the timely and accurate release of bills to active members • Work on various reports related to billing functions • Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records • Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency • Manage an assigned number of accounts and a book of business • Handle write-offs and refunds as well as corporate recovery • Maintain contact with external groups and manage delinquency outreach • Rotate to handle dedicated phone lines for groups • Follow directions and documented processes meticulously while demonstrating self-motivation and team spirit Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint • Knowledgeable in accounting software systems and other computer programs • Demonstrated ability in billing functions and accounting functions • Experienced in performing ad hoc financial tasks • Familiarity with company policies and regulations • Capable of handling refund requests, write-offs, and delinquencies • Expertise in reconciliations and recovery processes • Understanding of service level agreements and principles related to the role • Strong written communication and critical thinking skills • Experience with 'About Time' software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
