Job Overview:

The Billing Representative position supports day-to-day responsibilities including review of daily revenue capture reports, ensuring all coding and documentation was submitted for billing, review of all assigned work queues, collection, denials and chart review for ENT.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or EquivalentStrong knowledge of Insurance Providers & Billing SystemsHealthcare ExperienceKnowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD-10 and CPT codesStrong Communication SkillsAttention to Detail

Preferred:

Experience with EPIC, Medaptus, Cerner, Excel, D2I, and SCMBachelor s Degree

Certifications and Licenses Required:

ICD-10 Certification Preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift Working: Monday-FridayDay Shift: 8:00AM-4:00PM/8:30AM-4:30PMFull-Time, 40 Hours Per Week

Essential Functions:

Assist with follow-up denial as neededAssistance with other projects and duties related to revenue cycle management on an ad hoc basis as neededRequires EPIC, Medaptus, Cerner, Excel, D2I, SCM application training to ensure all charges were captured and interfaced with the coding and billing team
