Billing Coordinator – Service
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Billing Coordinator to manage weekly service order billing for multiple service groups across New England. This role involves utilizing standard cost accounting methodologies to ensure accurate service order costing and timely invoicing. A strong understanding of service agreements and state-specific tax laws is essential to maintain compliance and accuracy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, efficiently processing a high volume of service orders each week.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly service order billing with precision, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Maintain accurate service order costing by understanding the nuances of various service agreements. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, adhering to state-specific tax regulations. Handle a high volume of service orders while maintaining attention to detail. Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and optimize billing processes.Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred). Experience: 2-3 years in billing, bookkeeping, or customer service, preferably in a contractor or service trade environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards. Strong understanding of cost accounting and billing principles. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.
