Job DescriptionHandle patient related billing inquiries with patient and/or insurance companiesPatient check-out to collect co-payments and packet feesPrepare and process insurance batches for the claim’s processorCharge ticket postingAssists in processing and mailing monthly patient statements Responsible for correct coding for maximum reimbursementActs as insurance coordinator and IPA liaisonAssists in benefit verifications and authorizationsPrepares patient refunds due from insurance EOB’sAssists Practice Administrator and Management team as directedEnters patient insurance demographicsInputs patient charges and payments Updates/Edits of Patient DemographicsAssists the department in all aspects of payments and collectionsAssists the department in organizing and distributes collection dataReplies to insurance company inquiries for medical records, etc.Conducts New Patient Financial Consultations with patients

Job Type6 month contract to hire.Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
