Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Specialist in our Wholesale Distribution team, located in EAST SYRACUSE, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders, processing detailed billing, and maintaining accurate records. Working closely with the sales team, you will need to be adept at handling customer inquiries and ensuring smooth communication with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and prioritize customer orders, scheduling shipments according to customer requirements.
• Process billing for equipment deliveries, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of any errors.
• Provide comprehensive support to sales representatives and managers.
• Place orders with suppliers through email or website, managing work orders and delivery slips.
• Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist customers with order acknowledgments and shipping letters.
• Maintain and record prices and documents, ensuring all data is up-to-date.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Leverage skills in Computerized Billing, EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Handle inbound calls, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or inquiries. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services.
• Experience with Computerized Billing and EHR SYSTEM.
• Familiarity with Epic Software and About Time.
• Strong understanding of accounting functions.
• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Experience in answering inbound calls.
• Knowledge of order entry and import customer service.
• Excellent customer service and billing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the wholesale distribution industry is a plus.
