Suddath is seeking a highly-motivated, intelligent and caring team member who would like to be apart of our growing accounting team. The successful team member will be dynamic, goal oriented and someone who truly enjoys working in a team environment. Suddath will provide training and resources to maximize success for this individual who will be a key member of the accounting team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Audit and invoice transportation and accessorial servicesIssue and send invoices to CustomersUnderstand and interpret client and agent contracts and rate schedules as neededAnalyze, distribute and process revenueResearch and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors and customersUpload customer invoices into web portal or databaseCommunicate with operations and accounting staff regarding billing and issuesCreate and update spreadsheets for customer billings and reconciliationsAssist with special projects as needed

Job Skills Required:

1 to 2 years experience in billing / accountingAbility to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workdayAbility to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize workloadStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and follow throughStrong Excel skillsAbility to work under deadlines and specific time framesAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customersAbility to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervision

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or above. Some college or Associates/Bachelors Degree are preferred, but not required with applicable experience.

Computer Operations:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.
