Job Description:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for preparing timely and accurate billings for external clients. This individual is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and deployment of policies and procedures, as well as streamlining current billing processes. The successful candidate will be customer, creative and solution oriented, while delivering timely and high-quality results and able to pursue multiple concurrent initiatives. The scheduled hours of this shift is Monday to Friday - 11:00a.m to 8:00p.mRESPONSIBILITIES
Distribute prebills/drafts for reviewReview of narratives prior to attorney reviewMark up prebill for changes - time transfers, splits, and other adjustmentsAttorney prebill/draft markups input to AderantSubmit / Follow-up on approvals for Write-offs, Deferrals, etc.Follow up on inclusion or exclusion of expensesJOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of customer contractual arrangementsAbility to understand complex pricing methodsExcellent attention to detailWork well in a cross-functional matrix environmentPositive attitude and strong customer focusAdvanced Excel skills requiredStrong problem solving and analysis skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environmentLegal billing and Aderant experience requiredThe Compensation range for this role is 21.23 to 26.54 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
