The Billing Specialist for this engineering company will handle invoice preparation, payment processing, account management, financial reporting, customer inquiries, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and issue accurate invoices to clients based on project milestones and contract terms.Review and verify billing data, including project costs, time sheets, and expense reports.Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.Maintain and update billing records and client information in the accounting system.Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Essential SkillsProven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles.Must have Microsoft Dynamics Experience.Must have experience in the construction, engineering, or architecture industry.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00
