Job DescriptionManage billing setup and management of matters, timekeepers, and rates.Coordinate and process appeals.Maintain budgets and research balances as required.Establish new clients on selected e-billing platforms.Compile hours and expenses to clients.Proactively monitor potential errors that may result in the rejection of e-bills.Review and edit proformas in response to attorney and legal administrative assistant requests.Handle a high volume of bills per month.Execute complex bills in a timely manner, including multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, and preparation of electronic bills with expense backups and approvals.Improve e-billing processes.Research and analyze deductions and provide the best course of action for balances.Understand the flow of money from start to finish, handling research on invoices and identifying potential issues.Essential SkillsBilling experience is required.Experience in invoicing, accounting, data entry, and reconciliation.Experience in collections and customer service related to collections.Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).Experience with SAP is preferred.Experience in the construction or manufacturing industries is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable is highly preferred.Open to candidates with account representative or sales representative experience acting as a liaison between the business and customers.Work Environment
