Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the Construction/Contractor industry for a Billing Specialist in Sanford, Florida. This role involves handling incoming payments, ensuring a precise and swift allocation of customer payments to the corresponding open invoices, and tracking accounts receivable to ensure customer accounts are closely monitored. Responsibilities: • Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Carry out daily incoming and outgoing transactions within the scope of the revenue cycle • Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts • Identify and address delinquencies in customer accounts • Communicate and collaborate with other departments and internal teams to determine the cause of delinquencies • Build and maintain detail-oriented relationships with customers • Contact internal and external customers for resolution on items identified as transactional errors • Assist in developing effective and efficient methods for the billing process • Escalate issues as appropriate for swift resolution. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable and billing processes. • Highly organized and detail oriented. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Microsoft Excel and ERP experience.
