Description We are in the market for a proficient Billing Specialist to be part of our team. Situated in Mentor, Ohio, United States, the chosen candidate will be tasked with managing customer billing and inquiries, maintaining meticulous records, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate invoicing. This role is a long-term contract employment opportunity that provides an engaging work environment and hybrid flexibility after training. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies. • Ensure accurate billing by collaborating with other departments. • Maintain meticulous records of billing and payment transactions. • Generate accurate and timely invoices and apply payments to the correct accounts. • Utilize billing software to generate reports and analyze data. • Assist with month-end close procedures and ensure adherence to billing regulations and industry standards. • Provide necessary assistance to other team members in the department. • Regularly update your knowledge on billing regulations and industry standards. • Keep track of cash activity and handle cash accurately and responsibly.
