Description We are seeking an AR/Billing Specialist to join a growing team here in Greenville! Responsibilities: • Maintain and update customer credit records ensuring all information is current and accurate • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies • Generate and issue invoices through the system for customers • Handle a large volume of billings on a monthly basis • Use various systems for different tasks, with a focus on one particular system • Take additional steps for certain customers by uploading invoices into customer portals • Work closely with the team to cross-train and take on more responsibilities as you get comfortable in the role • Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks related to accounts receivable and billing. This position is onsite, Monday - Friday. Schedule can be flexible between the hours of 7:30 and 5:30. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role within the Machinery Manufacturing industry. • Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) management and handling all related tasks. • Demonstrated experience in billing procedures, including the preparation, review, and revision of complex invoices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and generate reports. • Proven ability to effectively manage invoices, including creating, sending, tracking, and reconciling them. • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving discrepancies in billing accounts or related financial records.
