Billing Specialist
Job Title: Billing SpecialistJob Description We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, preferably using Deltek Vision. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture or an engineering firm. You will be responsible for preparing lump-sum, bill-by-phase, and hourly billing. This role requires direct interaction with Project Managers to ensure accurate billing, as well as working with clients to upload invoices into third-party portal systems. You will also be running various reports in Deltek for clients and Project Managers, including profitability and labor detail reports. Responsibilities + Prepare lump-sum, bill-by-phase, and hourly billing + Work directly with Project Managers to ensure accurate billing + Upload invoices into third-party portal systems for clients + Run reports in Deltek for clients and Project Managers, including profitability and labor detail reports + Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable + Assist with collections Essential Skills + 3+ years of billing experience + Experience with Deltek Vision software + Knowledge of invoicing, lump-sum, and hourly billing + Ability to run detailed reports in Deltek + Experience in accounts receivable and payable Additional Skills & Qualifications + Background in architecture or engineering firm + Strong attention to detail + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Work Environment This position is 100% onsite, with a team of over 210 staff members across three locations: NYC/LI, Boston, and Orlando. You will be working within multiple studios, including Commercial, Workplace, Retail, Banking, and Healthcare. The dress code is business casual.
