Billing Specialist
Invoicing Specialist Job Description Analyze customer contracts or purchase orders to generate invoices that meet customer requirements. Review job costs and supporting documentation, prepare invoices per contractual language for multiple customers, and interact with key customers and Project Managers to ensure accurate job costs and invoices. Work on multiple assignments with varying deadlines and priority levels while efficiently completing project invoicing. Maintain billing files on projects, including backup for all audits. Assist in training new employees and special projects. Work closely with IT to develop web programs and review processes and procedures for efficiency. Essential Skills + Invoicing + Accounting + Invoice processing + Accounts payable + Accounts receivable + Data entry + SAP + Microsoft Excel + Customer service Additional Skills & Qualifications + A solid understanding of generally accepted accounting practices + Thorough knowledge of office procedures and practices + Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks + Ability to work independently and meet deadlines + Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs + Solid communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills + Solid computer skills including a familiarity with JDE, scanning, and Microsoft Office Work Environment Must be able to remain in a stationary position over 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Continuously operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, scanner, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and coworkers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Occasionally lifting 20 pounds. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
