BILLING SPECIALIST: DETAILS

Title: Billing SpecialistPay Rate: $20-23/hour (depending on experience)Location: Franklin TNStart Date: ASAPType: Contract to hireHours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CT | Monday - Friday

REQUIREMENTS: BILLING SPECIALIST

* 2+ years of insurance billing experience.* Medicare and Medicaid knowledge* Knowledgeable of Medical Terminology and a basic understanding of insurance processes.* Insurance and payer knowledge - E-clinical Works experience would be preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES: BILLING SPECIALIST

* Qualified professionals to assist in with Billing activity.* Initiates proactive measures that result in account resolution.* Responds timely and accurately to all incoming correspondence and inquiries from insurance companies, and other appropriate parties.* Initiates recommendations and action plans for billing accounts.* Writes appropriate notes in system for every account, including any action taken.
