Billing Specialist (Hybrid)
Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED (must provide a copy of diploma or transcript). Bachelor's Degree preferred. + 1-3+ years of recent billing, invoicing, or related office experience. + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially intermediate Excel skills. + Strong typing skills and 10-key typing experience. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Positive, professional attitude and customer service skills. Job Description This role involves handling complex billing tasks for a large account, and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a positive, professional attitude. This is an entry-level position with potential for long-term growth within the company. Responsibilities + Label documents submitted by carriers. + Utilize intermediate knowledge of Excel to manage spreadsheets. + Verify and enter information from invoices, BOLs, and other various documents into Navisphere. + Leverage system functionality and established processes to index a high volume of documents daily while meeting established error rate guidelines. + Use problem-solving and critical thinking skills to review error reports monthly. + Escalate complex issues to team members or leadership. + Work within established procedures and adhere to quality guidelines. + Continue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of billing processes. + Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to team or country-specific requirements. Work Environment This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence three days per week (Monday to Wednesday). The office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The work environment is professional, with a business casual dress code, and casual attire allowed on Fridays. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
