Billing Specialist I
**Description** The Billing Specialist I plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes with ENTRUST. They are responsible for managing the billing activities, including invoice generation, payment processing, and resolving billing discrepancies. + Draft invoice generation and submit to Project Manager for review, mark-ups, and approval + Apply PM markups and comments to drafts in accordance with current DOA + Receive and process payments from customers, applying them to appropriate invoices + Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues raised by customers, internal stakeholders, or third-party vendors + Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of billing records + Maintain accurate billing records and update customer information in the billing system + Resubmit drafts to PM for final approval as needed + Submit final invoices to client via email or upload to third party portals + Review project billing terms and bill rates on projects for accuracy in accordance with MSA or contract + Work with Project Controls for any necessary changes + Provide monthly client accruals + Support Accounts Receivable with aging and collecting of any past due accounts + Maintaining a collaborative spirit in working with Team Members, PM’s and BUL’s + Provide exceptional customer service by responding to billing inquires, clarifying billing details, and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner + Perform all other duties as assigned **Qualifications** **Education** **Required** + High School or better Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
