BIM Administrator

We are currently hiring for a BIM Administrator to be located in the Los Angeles, CA area. This opportunity will have you working within our education project construction sector. The education team provides services to K-12 as well as higher education institutions nationally. The BIM Administrator will work closely with the BIM Manager and provide full time support to the Los Angeles Community Colleges District to implement BIM on the BuildLACCD program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage BlueBeam studio sessions. Provide BlueBeam training and general tech support

Manage ProjectWise database. Upload/Download files as needed; manage users; provide training; provide monthly reports; general tech support; research data as requested by District and PMO; review DSA/CD/As-Built/Red line drawing sets for completeness

Perform QA/QC including review CAD/BIM As-Built drawings for compliance and completeness and review drawing sets for completeness

Provide support as requested for ArchGIS. Direct communication via phone and emails with college teams to track down deliverables; reporting and tracking to PMO weekly

Visit colleges within the district as requested to interface with college teams

Provide supplemental modeling as requested by the college project teams and PMO, including Revit BIM models as requested

Provide support as requested for LIDAR

Provide support to college teams/district/facilities in finding documents as requested

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field (degree can be substituted for an additional 8 years of experience)

Experience: 1 or more years of experience as a project engineer, VDC coordinator or relevant position.

Preferred Certification:
