What You Will Do:
The BIM/CAD Specialist will join a dynamic team supporting a global implementation of an integrated workplace management system (IWMS). Typical work associated with this role would involve supporting and collaborating with facility management teams to ensure accurate integration of BIM and CAD drawings and data into the Archibus system, ensuring all Revit parameters and data are aligned with Archibus requirements and OBO standards, updating CAD and Revit files for import into Archibus, training users on best practices for cleaning and importing CAD and Revit files into Archibus, and attending meetings to provide technical support to OBO and facility management teams for BIM/CAD related strategizing and troubleshooting.
What You Will Need:
Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's degree; FOUR (4) years' with BIM software, Autodesk Revit and CAD experience may be used in lieu of degree
THREE (3) years of experience with BIM software, Autodesk Revit and CAD
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Ability to create, manage, and modify Revit models
Strong understanding of Revit parameters and data management within Revit
Experience with Revit data extraction and COBie exports is a plus
Familiarity with the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) and their modeling/data requirement standards is highly desirable
Ability to work with complex datasets
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of BIM standards and best practices for model cleanliness
Knowledge of and experience with CAD tools, particularly AutoCAD
Ability to modify CAD drawings
