Job Description A client of Insight Globals is seeking to add a BIM Coordinator to their growing team. This role is with a Minority Owned company that is headquartered 30 miles west of the city of Chicago, IL. The company holds a strong focus on infrastructure improvement, permitting, design, drafting, surveying, and engineering needs. You will be working in a fast-paced environment driving exceptional quality and service for major MEP projects. Specific Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Reviewing 3D Models from consultants and contractors. Auditing and reviewing models in Autodesk Revit. Attending weekly coordination meetings with team members. Managing/updating BIM Project Documents. 3D Model Quantity Extraction/Verification Collaborating with other team members in office and virtually. Building relationships with external clients. Assisting engineers and senior managers with drawings and blueprints. Ensuring plans are accurate and easy to interpret.
